Azure Design Service

Our Azure Design Service is a high-level architectural review of your client's infrastructure through the lens of the five pillars of a well architected Azure Framework – reliability, security, cost-optimisation, operational excellence, and performance efficiency.

We also factor in their longer-term commercial objectives so our Azure-certified Solutions Architects can provide a bespoke Azure architecture high-level design giving them a stable and scalable base for growth. They will also receive a detailed cost estimate and all the associated technical documentation.

There are two levels of service - Business and Enterprise.

  • Business is intended for smaller organisations and/or simpler requirements. It is a fixed cost for a fixed specifications.
  • Enterprise is intended for larger organisations and/or complex requirements. The cost is variable and based on their requirements.

Sales Tips & Conversations

Before you start:

  1. Knowing your client’s business, commercial and technical objectives, plus their current situation, is key. If you know your client you can position the service effectively
  2. Taking a benefit-led approach is more effective than starting with features or jumping straight into the technically specifications.

Things you should know about your client:

  1. What does the business do.
  2. Who are their customers - business names are great but industry will do.
  3. Do those customers have specific expectations - e.g. if their customers are in a regulated market such as finance or healthcare, compliance is critical. If your client (or their customers) is a well-known brand their reputation and therefore security is vital. The service helps both and will help to pick out any flaws or issues in existing infrastructure.
  4. Do they make any claims about uptime, security or resilience? If so, an ADS will ensure they can deliver on their promises.
  5. What growth stage is the business at? If they're growing, they may want their dev team focused on their product not designing their infrastructure. If it's a mature business, they may have customer SLAs or additional compliance requirements. An ADS helps in both cases.
